There is no "right" age, anyone can be evaluated for orthodontic treatment. According to the American Association of Orthodontics, children should have an orthodontic evaluation no later that the age of 7 years old. Timing is decided by the person's development. Some patients may require only tooth movement, while other may need assistance in jaw growth. It is best to consult with an orthodontist to determine the ideal time for treatment.
